With spring approaching, what better than to go south and have a little taste of this beautiful season?
Already for a while, Toulouse and Marseille have been at the top of my “Bucket list” with their characteristic architecture, their typical dishes, Toulouse with its beautiful view of the Garonne and Marseille on the Mediterranean … Sincerely, I couldn’t postpone this trip anymore (especially when I came across very cheap airfares). Let’s do this!!!
Wednesday 26 April 2017 – 18:00: Departure for just an hour and a half flight from Strasbourg. And boom! We are there, yes Toulouse !! With my little sister waiting for me at the airport, we quickly began to discuss our respective news and things that make us laugh.
Thursday, April 27, 2017 – 10:00: A quiet little sleep, then breakfast in a cafe not far from the center ( Bruegger’s Toulouse for the curious) and the day begins!

Thursday, April 27, 2017 – 19:00: After a good walk in the city, about fifty photos I find my little sister for dinner then we return quietly to the apartment to rest.

Friday, April 28, 2017 – 10:00: Same as the day before, I take the time to sleep well then I go out looking for the rest of the attractions of the city and make some Timelapses.
Friday, April 28, 2017 – 19:00: After several photos and Timelapses, preparing for the trip to Marseille, then dinner cocktail with my little sister in a bar not far from the Garonne.
Saturday, April 29, 2017 – 07:00: Arrived in Marseille, we go to a small cafe ( Bar de la Marine ) in front of the old port of Marseille to relax.
Saturday, April 29, 2017 – 09:00: Direction the tourist office to ask for advice of places to visit then go for a visit of the city. We had on the program:
- Old Port
- Vallon des Auffes
- The cornice
- Basilica of St. Victor
- Cart
- Cours Julien
- Triumphal arch
- Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean
- Old Charity
- Cathedral of the Major

Saturday, April 30, 2017 – 22:00: After a hectic day, we savor our last meal in Marseille then we head to the station to return to Toulouse.
Sunday, April 31, 2017 18:00: After a good rest the day before, several discussions with my little sister about everything (and sometimes anything and yes I missed it), then I go towards the airport to return and find Strasbourg.
