# The food
Yes!! I’m starting with the food because outside of the US, Mexico’s cuisine is definitely underrated. Traveling in Mexico will make you enjoy great food from start to end of your travel. The variety of dishes and tastes will be beyond what you can experience outside of Mexico.
# The weather
Mexico benefits from a warm, tropical climate, with little temperature fluctuations. That being said, like most tropical countries it has a dry and a rainy season. Therefore, before booking your plane tickets I recommend you not to fall into unaware tourists’ mistake who might go there during the northern hemisphere summer because -you guessed it- it falls on the rainy season.
The best time to visit Mexico would be between December to March 😉
# The history
It might be unknown for some, but for over 3000 years Mexico was the home to many great civilizations including the Olmec, the Maya, the Zapotec, and the Aztec. These civilizations didn’t leave without shaping the Mexico that we know today. Thus, if you are a history nerd, you’ll definitely enjoy how rich is Mexico’s history.
# Nature
Mexico is considered the fourth country in the world in terms of variety of ecosystems. It has rainforests, mountains, volcanoes, deserts, reefs, caves, and cenotes. For those who never heard of cenotes, they’re natural pools, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. So, if you go to Mexico make sure to spare time to visit a cenote or more, because you’ll definitely love it!!!
# The nightlife
Okay!! So, although that for many years I thought that in terms of nightlife, I perhaps have seen a pretty respectable amount of crazy places; visiting Mexico showed that I… actually was wrong 😀 The nightlife in Mexico was beyond what I have experienced or even imagined before. The fact that I visited Mexico during Springbreak definitely has contributed. However, I can safely say that Mexico you’ll make you push partying to the next level.
#6 The art
Once more Mexico will again impress you by the marvelous artistic expressions it has on display. Whether its colorful painting, stunning architecture, beautiful crafts let alone its music and dances, they’ll definitely not leave you indifferent!! For me, traveling around the country left me very touched of the cultural diversity of Mexico especially Music 🎶 and Dance 💃🕺
I hope you liked this little article, hope you enjoy Mexico and see you after my next travel adventure 😉
